چکیده

Background: Cisplatin is a chemotherapeutic agent commonly used clinically for the treatment of various human cancers. Patients often reduce use cisplatin due to its side effects, which in turn affects treatment. This study explored mechanism action safflower extract as an adjuvant traditional Chinese medicine chemotherapy. Methods: Primary follicle dermal papilla cells (HFDPCs) were target cisplatin-induced damage hair cells. Western blotting was investigate molecular targets and causing HFDPCs damage. Cell survival cell cycle analyzed by mitochondrial staining reagent WST-1 propidium iodide. Results: could viability without death. increased level phospho-Rad17 activated Chk1/Cdc25C signaling expression Cdc2 protein, thereby arresting G2/M phase. The combination flavonoids effectively inhibit signal transduction Rad17/Chk1/Cdc25 cisplatin-treated population Finally, we also confirmed that caused cisplatin, mainly at reducing DNA cisplatin. Conclusions: Safflower can be chemotherapy normal

hair follicle generation by injecting adult human follicular epithelial and dermal papilla cells in nude mice

objective: objective: dermal papilla and hair epithelial stem cells regulate hair formation and growth cycle. damage to or losing of these cells can cause hair loss. although several studies have claimed to reconstitute hairs using rodent cells in animal model, a stable human hair follicle reconstitution protocol needs more studies. here in this study we evaluated hair induction through injecti...

Androgen Receptor Accelerates Premature Senescence of Human Dermal Papilla Cells in Association with DNA Damage

The dermal papilla, located in the hair follicle, expresses androgen receptor and plays an important role in hair growth. Androgen/Androgen receptor actions have been implicated in the pathogenesis of androgenetic alopecia, but the exact mechanism is not well known. Recent studies suggest that balding dermal papilla cells exhibit premature senescence, upregulation of p16(INK4a), and nuclear exp...

Ginkgo biloba leaf extract induces DNA damage by inhibiting topoisomerase II activity in human hepatic cells

Ginkgo biloba leaf extract has been shown to increase the incidence in liver tumors in mice in a 2-year bioassay conducted by the National Toxicology Program. In this study, the DNA damaging effects of Ginkgo biloba leaf extract and many of its constituents were evaluated in human hepatic HepG2 cells and the underlying mechanism was determined. A molecular docking study revealed that quercetin,...

Cellular Responses to Cisplatin-Induced DNA Damage

Cisplatin is one of the most effective anticancer agents widely used in the treatment of solid tumors. It is generally considered as a cytotoxic drug which kills cancer cells by damaging DNA and inhibiting DNA synthesis. How cells respond to cisplatin-induced DNA damage plays a critical role in deciding cisplatin sensitivity. Cisplatin-induced DNA damage activates various signaling pathways to ...

P-62: Damage to Sperm DNA and Protamine Deficiency Induced by Risperidone in NMRI Mice

Background: Antipsychotic medication use is a common cause of hyperprolactinemia that shown to have adverse effects on male fertility. Risperidone is a combined serotonin/dopamine receptor antagonist that can cause elevations in prolactine level. Its mechanism of cytotoxic effects on testicular germ cells is not fully understood. In the present study we sought to elucidate the impact of risperi...
